A hub for cement production, Midlothian is a growing city lying south of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Life is relatively quiet here, especially in the rural outskirts of town. Where Highway 67 and Highway 287 come together, you’ll find a thriving Main Street district and commercial corridor. For a bite to eat, a coffee, or to fill up your tank, this is the place to go.
Green spaces like Heritage Park and Triangle Park provide scenic spots to gather or spend a few moments in solitude. Though it’s well outside of the urban sprawl of the cities to the north, both of them are fairly easy to reach — Dallas is about 40 minutes away, and Fort Worth is about 30 minutes away.
There’s a plethora of brand-new homes for sale in Midlothian, thanks to the community’s population boom starting in the early 2000s. Most boast impressive brick façades and healthy front lawns.
