DFW Mini Relocation Guide – Mid-Cities Treasures
We at BHGRE | David Winans & Associates simply love Texas, and we honestly think that pretty much everyone should consider the move, especially to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. We do, however, know that the process of packing up your things, and moving across the country can be a little stressful. We want to make it easier on everyone.
To answer the many questions and concerns relocation may bring, there, of course, are several “relocation guides” available free of charge. And while these cover a wide range of topics and answer a ton of questions, they don’t always provide an intimate look of what this bright and shining metroplex truly has to offer.
So we thought we would provide some great addition information for exciting things to eat, drink, see, and do in this amazing area. This is the first of several installments of what I am calling our very own “Mini Relocation Guide.”
First in this series is FOOD, and we want to take a look at some excellent restaurants, located outside the hustle and bustle of the city, that have something more and different for almost every walk of life.
Here are my 5 personal favorites from the under dog cities lying between Dallas and Fort Worth —
And no, it is absolutely not the same as those other Joe’s pizza places, and they won’t let you forget that. To keep it short, it is absolutely the best slice in the area and one of my favorites ever. Try a slice of White Pizza, it will change your life.
To keep it short and simple: Texas cheese steaks are not usually very good. This is not the case here. Just as the name implies, Billy’s, as I like to call it, simply has the best cheese steak in Texas, because they’re from Philly.
My favorite sushi possibly in the entire metroplex for several factors: fresh, reasonable price, quick service, creativity, and taste. Try any of the signature rolls and try not to like it, I dare you. There is a second location in Cedar Hill, but I personally haven’t been. However, it’s got great reviews online so I am sure it is up to par with its Mansfield counterpart.
If you’re looking for an all around great sandwich, you have to try this place. They serve eastern style submarine sandwiches on fresh bread with meat and cheese piled high. Get the Bomber Supreme, you won’t regret it.
Another win for Mansfield. It’s one of my favorite breakfast choices ever. They serve the fattest, sweetest pancakes you will ever taste, and there is free coffee with your meal.
So once again these are just my personal favorites, they don’t even cover every kind of food or restaurant, but in this particular area of the metroplex, I love these places more than the rest!
I hope this helps anyone looking for a great bite to eat when they are in the Mid City area! Check in soon for more installments of our DFW Mini Relocation Guide.
